PENNYPILOT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Version 1.1 — Effective May 7, 2026

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account or using PennyPilot ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

PennyPilot is a personal finance management application that helps users track income, expenses, savings goals, and financial habits. The App is provided by VirtualProdigy LLC.

3. SOFTWARE UPDATES

PennyPilot is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. Data stored in the App may be affected during updates or migrations. You accept these risks by using the App.

4. NO FINANCIAL ADVICE

PennyPilot is a tracking and organizational tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other professional advice. The App does not recommend financial products, strategies, or decisions. You should consult a qualified financial advisor for any financial decisions. VirtualProdigy LLC is not a financial institution, advisor, or fiduciary.

5. DATA ACCURACY

All financial data in PennyPilot is entered and managed by you. VirtualProdigy LLC does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data you enter. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your financial records. The App's calculations, summaries, and insights are based entirely on the data you provide and may not reflect your actual financial position.

6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for: maintaining the security of your account credentials; the accuracy of data you enter; all activity that occurs under your account; backing up any data you consider important. You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App; share your account credentials with others.

7. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

PennyPilot currently stores your data locally on your device. Your financial data, credentials, and preferences are encrypted on-device. If you uninstall the App or clear app data, your locally stored data may be permanently lost. VirtualProdigy LLC is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, App removal, or operating system changes.

8. PRIVACY & DATA HANDLING

PennyPilot collects and stores: account credentials (encrypted), financial transaction data (encrypted on-device), user preferences and settings, anonymous usage analytics for App improvement, feedback you voluntarily submit. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal financial data to third parties. Feedback submissions are sent to VirtualProdigy LLC via encrypted channels to improve the App.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIRTUALPRODIGY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; any loss of data, profits, or financial losses; any decisions made based on information displayed in the App; any interruption or unavailability of the App. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

PennyPilot, including its design, code, and content, is the property of VirtualProdigy LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without written permission.

11. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

VirtualProdigy LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When terms are updated, you will be required to review and accept the new version before continuing to use the App. Your continued use after accepting updated terms constitutes agreement to the changes.

12. TERMINATION

VirtualProdigy LLC may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Account deletion permanently removes all data including credentials, financial records, savings goals, and preferences from your device. This action is irreversible. VirtualProdigy LLC is not responsible for recovering deleted data.

13. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

VirtualProdigy LLC does not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or on all devices. We may discontinue the App or any feature at any time without obligation to you.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
